Hanna Bahedry is a writer from Los Angeles.

She studied creative writing and social, cultural, and critical theory at Wesleyan University, where she received the Horgan Prize.

She is the recipient of the 1st place prize for the Writer’s Digest’s 2025 Short Short Story Competition. Her fiction and comics have been published by always crashing, the Maine Review, AHOY Comics, and dear ____ zine.

Hanna currently works as a publicist for Superfan Promotions. She has previously worked as a proofreader, book editor, copywriter, scriptwriter, researcher, manuscript reader, ghostwriter, and bookseller. She currently lives in her hometown with her plastic swans, Buster and Lucille.
